“I had been coming to Bethel since my kids were little. When I retired I knew I wanted to help more and another friend  was also retiring at the same time started a crafts class with me. It seemed like the thing that the ladies liked the most and what the most need for was making these neck pillows and giving them to Cancer Action and Children’s Mercy. It has just sort of grown from there.”

“Volunteering is the best feeling you can possibly have. I wish everyone could go with us when we deliver the items. They must know when we are coming because there is always someone there waiting for us. When you walk in their eyes light up and you know what we are doing is needed.”
