“I continue helping people. You need to be in the same situation. Being a mom of 4 kids, & looking for assistance in the community- I can understand that. So when I enter the room and I see this new mom with a beautiful baby and she doesn’t know what to do or why he is crying, I know what my job is. For me it’s the most wonderful experience. It’s not a job. I say thank you to God for giving me the opportunity to interact with these families. I was there. One time I called United Way and asked for help and they cared for my kids.
When I enter the room, for me it’s another opportunity to make a difference in this family’s life.”
